ERT's staff includes DOD trainied and certified MEC / UXO
specialists that can provide support in all phases of MEC / UXO
projects. ERT's services include:
UXO safety planning and support
ERT can provide all the required
support for safely operating in presence of potential MEC and UXO.
This includes safety plan development and review, training of
personnel, and monitoring during construction or other project
activity.
Geophysical Mapping
ERT's team utilizes the latest survey, GPS, GIS, and detection
technology to provide accurate geophysical mapping of MEC / MXO.
ERT is well versed in all phases of mapping
ranging from geophysical prove out, to surveying, to anomaly
reacquisition.
ERT Success Story - Lackland Air Force Base
In 2003 ERT Inc., working under American Technologies, Inc.,
completed digital geophysical mapping survey of four areas of
concern at Lackland AFB, San Antonio TX. The goal of the project was
to locate anomalies (potential UXO), pits and trenches. The survey
areas covered approximately 17 acres.
ERT was responsible for the preparation of work plan, geophysical
prove-out, survey grid preparation, field data acquisition,
preliminary and final processing of the geophysical data.
Both EM61 MK2, Proton Magnetometer (G-856) (used at Base
Stations), and G-858 were used for the survey along with a DGPS. The
UXO detected range in size from 30 mm to greater than 100 mm.
ERT services included Preparation of work plans, UXO safety plans
and procedures, Geophysical Prove-Out, equipment calibration,
Geophysical mapping, Processing of geophysical data, Report and Map
Generation.
