Wetlands, Natural Resources, NEPA

Wetlands, Endangered or Threatened Species, Soils, Sensitive Environments, and a whole host of environmental factors can derail any project. ERT can help assess, plan and document the environmental conditions at any given site in order to facilitate a wide variety of projects. Our expertise has been recognized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Maryland Environmental Services. These and other clients have come to rely on our ability to easily combine:

Wetland Identification and Mitigation

Identification of wetlands can be technically challenging due to the fact that many wetlands lack permanent surface water and water logged soils. ERT professionals not only can properly identify wetlands, they can offer a variety of mitigation solutions that allow a project move forward despite the presence of wetlands.

Natural Resources

The ERT team has extensive experience in wide variety of natural resource assessment projects including soil surveys, threatened and endangered species, watershed analysis, water resources, cultural resources, permitting, and much more.

National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

The ERT experts can provide any level of NEPA documentation required for any project, ranging from simple checklists for H.U.D. financed acquisitions to fully developed Environmental Impact Statements.

ERT Success Story: Operational Range Assessment Program

Operational Range Assessment Program map imageERT was one of three contractors selected by the Army Corps of Engineers to complete the Operational Range Assessment Program. The program provides qualitative assessments of active training ranges to determine of off-range migration of contamination is impacting the environment. We were selected not only because of our expertise in determining the fate and transport of contamination, but our ability to identify ecological receptors such as wetlands, endangered species, and sensitive habitat. ERT is currently completing assessments of all active ranges in Pennsylvania at the site.

ERT is using a variety of resources to identify sensitive ecological receptors potentially impacted by the activity of active Army training ranges.
