- Chief Information Officer Support: ERT capabilities include a range of services that enable effective CIO organizations. Our support services include governance and change management, enterprise architecture, strategic planning, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) compliance, as well as portfolio management and project management office (PMO) services.
- Software Design & Engineering: ERT provides enterprise systems architecture and design, database design and development, and systems engineering and development services for both COTS and custom solutions. Our approach to software design and development includes a variety of methodologies and tools, including service oriented architectures (SOA) and web services.
- Help Desk and Desktop Management: ERT provides outstanding customer care and help desk support to our government clients. Our technicians and engineers provide the full lifecycle of customer care services, from Tier 1 through Tier 3, and are adept at all major enterprise help desk systems such as HEAT and Remedy. We understand the importance of courteous agents that have the troubleshooting skills and well documented processes and protocols to resolve problems quickly. We also provide desktop management services including hardware break-fix support, peripheral device support, image and configuration management, asset management, and IMAC support.
- Systems Administration & Data Center Support: ERT systems administrators manage diverse systems including enterprise level and desk top support, applications management, patching, and backups. We also support high performance computing, parallel systems, network storage and specialized data acquisition and laboratory computers.
- Network & Telecommunications Support: ERT supports network design and administration, messaging systems, telephone communications and LAN/WAN support. Additionally we support PDA and remote access, including Virtual Private Networks and laptop encryption and security.
- Quality Assurance & Testing Support: We provide quality assurance as an integral part of all of our IT services. Additionally, ERT can be employed to provide independent QA and testing support on systems designed and developed by another contractor team. Our methodologies ensure that systems perform as expected and that rigorous test cases demonstrate a system is ready for production.
- IT Security: ERT’s provides the full spectrum of IT Security Services, from security planning to security penetration testing. Our security engineers have CISSP certifications and years of experience with the Certification and Accreditation process. Our efforts accelerated the National Ocean Service’s early success as a Department of Commerce accredited site. We perform control assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans. We assist system owners in tailoring and implementing security provisions to system requirements.
