ERT Awarded 2-Year, $1.3M Contract at Fort Hancock, NJ
September 25, 2009 – Through our USACE MAMMS IDIQ contract, ERT has been awarded a 2-year $1.3M contract to conduct a Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI/FS) resulting in and obtaining approval of a Decision Document for five (5) Munitions Response Sites (MRS) at the Fort Hancock Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) in New Jersey. ERT will perform investigations for Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and munitions constituents (MC). Activities involving MEC may include unexploded ordnance, discarded military munitions, MC in high enough concentrations to cause an explosive threat, non-explosive concentrations of MC, and incidental contaminants not related to MEC or MC.
ERT Awarded First Task Order Under USACE, Omaha District
September 22, 2009 – ERT has been awarded the first task order to be issued under the Omaha District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Environmental Remediation Services Contract. Under this $111K contract, ERT will perform an Underground Storage Tank Site Investigation at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland—performing records reviews, investigating for both soil and groundwater contamination, and investigating sites for lead-based paint.
ERT Awarded $1.8M NOAA NOS CO-OPS Contract
September 14, 2009 – ERT has been awarded a $1.8 million 5-year contract with NOAA’s National Ocean Service Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS). Under this contract, ERT will provide software development services, constructing a World-Wide-Web accessible set of tools to improve data processing capabilities for permanent CO-OPS stations and the processing of data for temporary stations. Tasks under this contract will include software requirements documentation, software design, system test planning, module construction, acceptance testing, systems deployment, and system maintenance.
