Terry Heatlie, Bridget Lussier, and Stacie Fejtek Smith will present at the 9th National Summit on Coastal and Estuarine Restoration and Management in Long Beach, California. Scheduled for December 8-13 at the Long Beach Convention Center, the event’s theme is “Investing in Our Coasts: Environment, Economy, Culture.”
Mr. Terry Heatlie is a Habitat Restoration Specialist and Technical Monitor in the Great Lakes office. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Heatlie manages large-scale habitat restoration projects supporting the NOAA fisheries habitat restoration program. Ms. Bridget Lussier, a Marine Habitat Restoration Specialist, is an experienced biologist and researcher. She supports the NOAA Restoration Center in Charleston, South Carolina, where she works to further coastal resilience and oyster restoration efforts in the South Atlantic region. Ms. Stacie Fejtek Smith, also a Marine Habitat Resource Specialist, is based at the National Marine Fisheries office in Long Beach, CA. Smith supports NOAA’s Restoration Center by providing technical monitoring and support for coastal restoration projects, collaborating with restoration partners to support endangered species recovery from San Luis Obispo County to the U.S./Mexican Border.
