Eric Freeman and Andrew Buddenberg will each present a poster at the American Geophysical Union’s Fall Meeting being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Poster sessions are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. daily in Hall A-C.
Mr. Freeman is the lead author of “ICOADS – Recovery and Availability of Drifting Buoy Data for the Recent Climate Record,” which he’ll present during Session B41M: Centennial: Earth Observation Capabilities and Future Needs, on Thursday, December 13.
Mr. Buddenberg is a co-author of “Development and Implementation of the NCEI Common Access Order Fulfillment and Data Services as Part of the Mission Data Management System,” which he’ll present during Session IN51B: Enabling Cloud Applications for Earth Science Data, on Friday, December 14.
Both men support ERT contracts at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information in Asheville, North Carolina. Freeman, a marine observation specialist, is a surface marine ocean data manager at the Center for Coasts, Oceans and Geophysics. Buddenberg is a software engineer specializing in enterprise software applications development.
