ERT wins two MDSHA material engineering and testing services contracts as a team member of EBA Engineering and Hillis-Carnes & Associates Team, respectively

August 15, 2003 - Maryland State Highway Administration - Material Engineering and Testing Services, Statewide (BCS 2003-02, 2003 - 2006).

The purpose of this contract is to establish a three-year agreement with EBA Engineering and Hillis-Carnes & Associates Team to perform geo- technical engineering services, statewide, for the State Highway Administration's Geo-technical Exploration Division of the Office of Materials and Technology (OMT).

ERT is to provide services: (a) field testing of soils, aggregates, rock, and geo-synthetics; (b) field testing of concrete and cement; (c) non-destructive field materials testing; (d) field testing of concrete for existing bridge structure condition evaluations; (e) non-destructive field testing of bridge structures for condition evaluations.

ERT wins MD pavement and asset management services consulting contract as a team member of Axiom team

June 20, 2003 - Maryland State Highway Administration - Consulting Services to develop and support Maryland's Pavement and Asset Management Systems. The services in support to Axiom Decision Systems include (a) refinement of models used by pavement management system; (b) development and refinement of existing SHA pavement modeling tools; (c) development and refinement of existing SHA optimization tools used to develop annual budget allocation plan; (d) development of computer applications to process and report roadway inventory and condition data; (e) development of asset management strategic plan; and (f) maintenance and upgrade of SHA's pavement management related databases.

ERT wins two MDSHA geo-technical engineering services contracts as a team member of RKK and Michael Baker Team, respectively

May 22, 2003 - Maryland State Highway Administration -- Geo-technical Engineering Services, Statewide (BCS 2001-1A & BCS 2001-1B, 2003 -2006).

ERT is to provide nondestructive testing, geophysical site investigation and geographic information system (GIS) development services, statewide, Maryland.

ERT wins NASA EMD contract as a team member of Raytheon

May 15, 2003 - Raytheon team was selected to provide information technology (IT) operations and maintenance to NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS). The five-year contract is valued at up to $500 million.

EOS gathers, archives, and processes environmental earth observation data and then makes the data available to government and scientific communities. EOS serves more than two million users annually through a network of eight Distributed Active Archive Centers. Raytheon team will maintain and operate hardware and software elements of EOS at Raytheon's Landover, MD, facility and on-site at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
