ERT Wins Contract to LDCM Science Team

September 11, 2006 - ERT won a one year (with 4 option years) contract as a member of the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) science team under the U.S. Geological Survey. The Landsat Science Team will conduct research on issues critical to the success of the LDCM, including data acquisition, product access and format, practical applications, and science opportunities for new- and past-generation Landsat data. The team will provide research and science support to the USGS on topics that will affect the overall success of the LDCM mission. Dr. Feng Gao (principal investigator from ERT), as one of the eight funded LDCM science team members, will work on the project "Developing a Consistent Landsat Data Set from MSS, TM/ETM+, and International Data Sources for Land Cover Change Detection".

Contract Win: NOAA Mission IT Support

September 1, 2006 - ERT won a 5-year, $2.5 million GSA FAS MAS 70 contract to provide Information Technology, Architecture, Development and Scientific Support for the Information Management Division of the National Ocean Service.

ERT Wins Outstanding Supplier Award:
Northrop Grumman Honors Outstanding NPOESS Suppliers
at Third Annual Conference

June 14, 2006 - One of six NPOESS suppliers honored at this conference, ERT was cited by Northrop Grumman for "exceptional performance and teamwork on the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) program".

According to Northrop Grumman, "Earth Resources Technology Inc. (ERT) has been instrumental in coordination of static and dynamic ancillary data and Sensor Data Record content and formats for the CDFCB-X (Common Data Format Control Book-External) documentation. ERT has also demonstrated domain knowledge on calibration and validation of space-borne remote-sensing instruments." Read more.

Contract Win:
Occupational Safety at NASA Goddard

May 24, 2006 - ERT won a 3-year, $1.4 million contract to provide on-site Comprehensive Occupational Safety Program services at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, Maryland, and four other locations to help ensure the Center is in compliance with required safety standards. The Center includes over 3.4 million square feet of office, industrial and laboratory space. Tasks include building and laboratory surveys, facility drawing reviews, construction safety oversight, mishap investigation, and development and presentation of safety training courses.

GSA MOBIS Services Contract for NOAA National Ocean Services
Information Management Division

April 30, 2006 - ERT won a 5-year, $8.7 million GSA Mission Oriented Business Integration Services (MOBIS) contract to provide Administrative, and Management Services to NOAA's National Ocean Service Information Management Division. Tasks include data and scientific analysis, IT support (IT security, network, help desk, Web services, and database), education, outreach and communications support, legislative and planning support, administrative and financial support.

National Marine Sanctuaries Program

April 30, 2006 - ERT won a 5-year, $9.0 million GSA Mission Oriented Business Integration Services (MOBIS) contract to provide Communications, Outreach, & Education Services to NOAA's National Ocean Service National Marine Sanctuaries Program. Tasks include education and outreach, media development, web support, and exhibit management.

GSA Environment Services Contract for NOAA OOCRM

June 30, 2006 - ERT won a 5-year, $4.9 million GSA Environment Services contract to provide Science and Technical Support Services to NOAA Office of Ocean & Coastal Resources Management Division. Tasks include science and analysis, policy analysis, coordination and consultation, outreach and communication, and decision technology.
