ERT delivers science data analysis and software development services for Federal government projects. We specialize in systems and data integration and processing in Earth services, geospatial and remote sensing. Our services include algorithm development, modeling, and visualization of geospatial and satellite data.
- Science Data Processing/Management: ERT integrates, tests, and manages software for NASA and NOAA science data processing, including configuration management, regression testing and formal software processes and earned value tracking. We develop processing and algorithms for coastal charts crucial to environmental and human safety in maritime navigation.
- Geospatial and Remote Sensing: ERT develops remote sensing and imagery algorithms to blend Landsat and MODIS data, enhancing temporal and spatial content. Our data analysis and display programs monitor weather data and we automate modeling and data assimilation for efficiency.
- Climate Change Analysis: ERT's scientific staff have expertise with analyzing the effects of climate change on atmospheric conditions, oceans and marine environments, as well as vegetative landcover. ERT has supported NASA's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO), NASA's Global Modeling Initiative (GMI), NOAA's Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Program, and NOAA's Air Resources Lab.
- Modeling and Algorithm Development: ERT performs high performance computing and models forest fire-related atmospheric contaminant plumes. We develop algorithms to track and predict plume transport and dispersion as well as hurricane pathway. We support the global climate change research of NASA’s Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO).
- Visualization: ERT’s scientific and analysis programmers specialize in designing multi-dimensional views of data that assist users in discerning patterns and features. With 3-D techniques, specialized coloration schemes and animations, our customers are able to extract more information from their data.
- Education and Outreach: ERT supports science education and outreach programs including web development and formal educational programs for K-12. We produce a wide variety of specialized publications.
- Economic, Financial, Budgetary Analysis: We assist our customers in planning and managing budgets and allocating funding for science missions. The services include accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, budgeting, financial tracking and reporting, and development of budget strategies. We also develop and maintain software for operation of budget formulation database and generation of tracking/variance reports.
