ERT Awarded OCS Project Support Services Contract

Under this contract, ERT staff will respond to emergencies and disasters such as oil spills and hurricanes as well as perform activities such as hydrographic surveying, on-scene shore support, modeling of contaminant tracking, determination of products to support operations, and interaction with deployed personnel. In the hydrographic and charting arena, activities will include acquisition, processing, analysis, manipulation, and application along with development of new methods and technologies.


NOAA's Office of Coast Survey (OCS) is the nation’s nautical chart maker, maintaining the national suite of 1,000 nautical charts. Their products support commercial shipping, the fishing industry, U.S. Navy and Coast Guard operations, state and local governments, GIS users, and recreational boaters throughout the United States.
