ERT today announced its selection as a Professional and Technical Services Fisheries Domain contract (ProTech-Fisheries) awardee. The company is now eligible to compete for individual task orders under this multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract whose primary clients will be the offices within NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service.
ProTech-Fisheries is the second of five domains to be competed and awarded under NOAA’s ProTech services solution; designed as a resource to support all of NOAA’s Line and Staff Offices, as well as other Bureaus within the Department of Commerce, where applicable. Key areas of work include: studies, analyses and reports; applied research, engineering, consulting and operations; field sampling, data collection and surveys; and consulting, program and project management.
The period of performance includes a two-year base contract and three, one-year option periods. The contract begins on September 30, 2018 and, if all options are exercised, could last through September 2023. Places of performance will be determined by individual task orders, with support services anticipated for various and diverse locations world-wide, such as: New England/Mid-Atlantic; Hawaii; Alaska; Saint Petersburg, Florida; Seattle, Washington; American Samoa; Guam; and the Caribbean.
“We are very pleased to be one of only five large prime contractors selected for ProTech-Fisheries. ERT has supported multiple offices within NOAA Fisheries over the last 12 years, performing work in more than 20 states. This contract will enable us to continue performing critical work for our valued customers,” said Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jingli Yang.
