ERT Wins GOES NOP Sustainment (LEDS III) Contract

ERT is pleased to announce the award by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), Office of Satellite Ground Services (OSGS) of the GOES NOP Sustainment (LEDS III) contract. This contract represents continued support of our previous work on both LEDS I and LEDS II.

 

Under LEDS III, ERT will provide sustainment activities/technology refresh/upgrades to develop, modernize, and/or enhance GOES NOP ground system components to ensure their viability in supporting the USAF GOES Indian Ocean mission objectives.

 

The contract has a one-year base period, beginning 11/17/19, and two one-year options periods. The work under this contract will be performed at a number of facilities including the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) facility in Suitland, Maryland as well as the Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (WCDAS) in Wallops Island, Virginia; Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) in Fairbanks, Alaska; Fairmont Consolidated Backup (CBU) in Fairmont, West Virginia, and the RGS site in Dongara, Australia.
