ERT today announced its selection by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as a Professional and Technical Services Oceans Domain contract (ProTech-Oceans) awardee. The company is now eligible to compete for individual task orders under this multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract whose primary clients will be the offices of the National Ocean Service (NOS).
ProTech-Oceans is the third of five domains to be competed and awarded under NOAA’s ProTech services solution; designed as a resource to support all of NOAA’s Line and Staff Offices, as well as other Bureaus within the Department of Commerce, where applicable. Key areas of work include: studies, analyses and reports; applied research, engineering, consulting and operations; field sampling, data collection and surveys; and consulting, program and project management.
The period of performance includes a two-year base contract and three, one-year option periods. The contract began on January 2, 2019 and, if all options are exercised, could last through January 2024. Places of performance will be determined by individual task orders, with support services anticipated for various and diverse regions world-wide, such as: Alaska, the Greater Atlantic, the Southeast, the West Coast, the Pacific Islands, and the Caribbean.
“ERT is pleased to announce our selection as a prime contractor for ProTech-Oceans,” noted Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jingli Yang. “During our years as an NOS contractor, we’ve proudly served as a trusted partner to every program office. We’re looking forward to continuing our support of critical programs related to coastal resilience, intelligence, and conservation.”
