TESA, LLC (Technical and Engineering Support Alliance, LLC), a joint venture between ERT and TechGlobal, Inc., was awarded the Information Technology Program Support Services contract for the Information Technology Division of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center. Under this contract, TESA will operate and manage IT systems used by the NEFSC user community and provide program support services for the Science Center. To achieve this mission, TESA will staff service desks in Woods Hole, Massachusetts; Sandy Hook, New Jersey; Orono, Maine; Narragansett, Rhode Island; and Milford Connecticut. The contract has a base year and three option years.
The Northeast Fisheries Science Center Information Technology Division supports IT services for various laboratories and field stations from Maine to New Jersey. Among the strong working relationships maintained by NEFSC to benefit the user community are the Greater Atlantic Region Fisheries Office (GARFO), New England Fishery Management Council, Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council, Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Southeast Regional Office (SERO), and the NMFS Data Architect.
