TESA Awarded WPCIS Contract

TESA, LLC (Technical and Engineering Support Alliance, LLC), a joint venture between ERT and TechGlobal, Inc., was awarded the Water Prediction Computing Infrastructure Services (WPCIS) support contract for the National Water Center (NWC)’s Office of Water Prediction. The WPCIS contract is a continuation of ERT’s previous Scientific Software Development contract. TESA will continue our support of NWC by providing overall maintenance and servicing to a complex computing suite of servers, core/edge network devices, desktops, laptops, and tablets. TESA support will include:

  • mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, algorithm development, software implementation and testing, analysis, validation and visualization of scientific results;
  • software development, preliminary and detailed design, implementation, testing and integration, documentation, and troubleshooting;
  • full life cycle development and maintenance of requirements-based data models and their implementation across OWP’s database and non-database storage capability;
  • full life cycle development and maintenance of developmental and operational hardware environments and software applications; and
  • technical documentation.

The contract has a period of performance of up to two years.

The OWP’s NWC, located on the campus of the University of Alabama, is NOAA’s response to the nation’s growing need for water intelligence. The NWC enables the National Weather Service to deliver a new generation of water information and services to the nation, improve preparedness for water-related disasters, and inform high-value water decision at the local, state, and national levels.
